Swimbodies - An original linocut print of five glorious women getting ready to swim with a body positive message
Megan says;
"Anyone else hate seeing the phrase 'Beachbody'? I certainly do. This piece was my answer to that. All these glorious ladies are ready to hit the beach and because it's me, go swimming!"
Each print comes labeled AP, titled and signed in pencil by Megan, the artist.
Every step in the process of making the linocut, from drawing and designing, to carving and printing, is done by hand, and as such, every linocut in the edition is completely unique and may vary slightly from the illustration above.
The linocut has been inked in a handmixed cobalt blue and then hand burnished onto special Japanese Shoji printing paper.
Printed image size is approximately A4. Paper is approximately A3.
